The Heritage Community is an adolescent residential treatment program. We are currently seeking to hire a Night Support Lead to help supervise the graveyard shift. A Lead is responsible to manage their assigned shift, train and direct caregivers on their team, overseeing the supervision of students, and assure a caregiving environment is upheld. Schedule:
- Four shifts per week, including a weekend rotation.
- Sunday - Thursday shifts are 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM.
- Friday and Saturday shifts are 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Aptitude of adolescent development.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor adolescents.
- Basic understanding and competency of mental health diagnoses. Must also show assertiveness to improve knowledge and competency for efficient job performance.
- Management and leadership skills — using passion and vision to teach and steward both students and employees.
- Excellence in innovation and executing plans, knowing how to be attuned to the people and business you serve to weave culture and results.
- Good energy, with ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Engaging and empathetic character, with the balance of tenacity and determination.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as an assistant to the Night Support Supervisor in leadership duties. This includes, but is not limited to, training Night Coaches on your team, handling operational components of assigned shift, assuring program components are consistent, and that treatment care objectives are applied in a true, high-quality manner.
- Interview candidates for entry-level positions, consulting with the Supervisor and Human Resources, as needed.
- Manage work schedules of assigned team members, including training, vacations and paid time off, cover for absenteeism, and overtime.
- Conduct quarterly evaluations for team members and provide feedback for continuous performance improvement.
- Secure the campus by patrolling facilities, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points, etc.
- Develop close, personal, and emotionally supportive relationships with the students, coaching them in their treatment progression.
- Be a leader and an example to reliably intercede and successfully mediate any conflicts at hand, or any time a student needs further support and guidance.
- Implement clinical treatment plans as outlined by the Treatment Team, and assure team members also understand expectations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6-months' relevant experience working in residential treatment required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older to apply.
- Physical ability to provide interventions, such as safety holds.
- A valid Driver’s License, and no more than one traffic violation on a driving record in the past three years to be approved to transport students using company vehicles.
- Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
