Position Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused Hemp Tender to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and eager to educate their community about hemp-derived products and their effects.
You will be responsible for guiding customers through their purchases, maintaining store organization, and supporting daily operations.
Duties
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and in-depth customer service
- Educate customers on product types, effects, and proper usage
- Assist with product suggestions based on individual needs
- Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking
- Help with packaging and labeling of in-house products
- Answer phone calls and assist with orders/deliveries
- Follow all store policies and compliance guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Willingness to learn and retain product knowledge
- Comfortable discussing hemp-derived cannabinoids (training provided)
- Retail or customer service experience preferred (not required)
Bonus (Not Required, but a Plus)
- Previous experience in hemp/cannabis retail
- Knowledge of cannabinoids
- Sales experience
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
