Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Worker to join our team. The hours are 9:15 am-12:15 pm on Sunday mornings and 5:45-7:15 pm on Wednesdays. Additional hours are available on an as-needed basis.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This position involves working closely with infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental needs and fostering a love for God and the Bible.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Use the provided curriculum to implement age-appropriate activities that promote Biblical learning.
- Assist with daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the nursery space.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
- Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies as needed.
- Provide first aid as necessary and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
Skills
- Experience working with children in various capacities, such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny, is preferred.
- Proficiency in caregiving techniques, including infant care, toddler care, and behavior management.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
