Hiring a Full-Time Audiologist
Massapequa, New York
The Hearing Connection is a long-standing, doctor-owned private audiology practice serving the Massapequa community for over 20 years. Our practice has built a strong reputation for delivering comprehensive, evidence-based hearing healthcare that places patients’ needs first. We specialize in creating individualized, hearing-focused treatment plans that incorporate each patient’s lifestyle and communication goals, utilizing the latest advances in hearing technology and best-practice verification methods.
• Comprehensive diagnostic audiologic evaluations
• Audiometry, immittance, and speech-in-noise testing
• Counsel patients
• Tinnitus measurement, management, and counseling
• Hearing aid evaluation, fitting, programming, and follow-up care
• Real Ear Measurement (REM) verification
• Electroacoustic analysis
• Patient education and long-term care planning
• The ability to work independently but also in a team environment
• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.)
• New York State license (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as organizational and problem solving skills
• Experience with major hearing aid manufacturers
• Commitment to evidence-based Best Practices
