Staging & Interior Design Assistant

Job Description

We are a boutique home staging company looking for a creative, detail-oriented Staging & Interior Design Assistant to help bring our vacant property listings to life. This is a highly visual role perfect for an interior design student, visual merchandiser, or anyone with a great eye for home decor.

PLEASE NOTE: This position begins on a project-by-project, per-job basis. Hours will vary depending on our home staging calendar. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a flexible, on-call creative side gig with strong potential to transition into a permanent, full-time role as our business expands.Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute Design Concepts: Independently style rooms by arranging tabletop decor, dressing beds, fluffing pillows, and hanging wall art according to our design standards.
• Inventory Management: Carefully pack, unpack, label, and organize decorative bins (accessories, linens, lighting, and rugs) at the warehouse and job sites.
• On-Site Collaboration: Work alongside our mover on-site to ensure the final layout looks polished, clean, and ready for real estate photography.
• Furniture Handling: Assist our mover with furniture placement and provide extra physical support for heavy two-person lifts (like sofas or heavy tables) when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Design Eye: A background in interior design, home staging, art, or visual merchandising (a portfolio or photos of spaces you have styled is highly preferred).
• Valid Driver's License: A clean, valid driver's license is strictly required (company truck is provided for transit between sites).
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, bend, walk, handle furniture, and assist with heavy two-person team lifts during a staging day.
• Work Ethic: Comfortable balancing both the physical moving help and the detailed design work.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
