What are the responsibilities and job description for the Court & Community Coordinator position at The Haven Shelter & Services, Inc.?
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Direct Services:
Provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and culturally relevant services to survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and/or stalking, including:
- Providing accurate information on the civil and criminal legal system, survivor rights, and available gender-based violence legal remedies to support informed decision-making.
- Offering advocacy and court accompaniment for survivors across the five-county service area.
- Providing crisis intervention, advocacy, information, and referrals based on each survivor’s self-identified needs and goals.
- Collaborate with survivors to develop individualized safety plans that prioritize well-being and autonomy.
- Providing or coordinating transportation for program participants when needed and safe to do so, to support access to services and participation in the criminal justice process.
- Participating in on-call duties as outlined by agency protocols.
2. Data, Reporting, and Grant Compliance:
- Accurately document, record, and report all survivor data and services provided in compliance with grant requirements.
- Support the Advocacy Team and Executive Director in achieving program goals and evaluating program effectiveness.
- Prepare and submit timely, accurate grant-funded progress reports as assigned.
3. Community Outreach and Collaboration:
- Engage in outreach, education, and training for community members/organizations, allied professionals, and survivors.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners to enhance coordinated responses to survivors.
- Attend and actively participate in community collaboration meetings as needed or assigned.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
