What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cello Music Teacher, Lower School position at The Harker School?
The Harker After School Instrumental Music Program is currently seeking an experienced cello teacher for both private and group lessons.
Qualifications:- teach kindergarten string group and private lessons on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 6:45pm
- Experience working with elementary level students ages 5-12
- Masters’ degree in performance and/or education preferred, but not required
- Private one-on-one teaching experience with general pedagogy, use of method books along with supplementary materials
- Ability to teach violin helpful, but not required
