The Harbor Front Inn is preparing to debut our new Lobby Wine Bar—a stylish, coastal gathering space where mornings ease into afternoons and evenings come alive. We’re looking for a versatile Runner/Barista to support both coffee service and bar operations while helping deliver a seamless guest experience from open to close.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in motion and thrives in a team-driven environment. You’ll move between crafting quality coffee beverages, supporting bar service, and ensuring guests receive timely, polished service throughout the space.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and light café offerings during daytime hours
- Support bartenders and servers by running food and beverages efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, coffee station, and service areas
- Assist with opening and closing side work, including stocking and prep
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner while delivering items
- Help maintain the flow of service during busy summer shifts
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant support role preferred
- Basic knowledge of espresso machines and coffee preparation (or willingness to learn)
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
