The Happy Troll Deli & Pub is looking for a Dishwasher to join our team in Charlevoix, MI.
As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, glasses, and equipment are clean and sanitized after each meal service.
This is a part-time position, Friday-Monday, with weekends required.
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm in an emergency situation.
- Ability to multitask and effectively communicate with staff and guests.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- The ability to work well under pressure, with attention to detail and follow-up.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness of all work areas including prep areas, kitchen, walk-in coolers, freezers, dry storage areas and equipment.
- Clean freezers according to USDA guidelines.
- Store all items in the proper locations as directed by the head chef.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment needs to the head chef immediately.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
