Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Manage inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist in placing orders for bar supplies.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, striving for resolution to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Experience using cash registers or Aloha POS systems is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
