Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Take food and beverage orders from customers, ensuring prompt and friendly service.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with setup for catering or special events.
- Engage with guests to create a memorable experience through attentive service and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and sales calculations.
- Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, banquets, or catering environments is a plus.
- Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling standards is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy hours.
- Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed within a fast-paced setting.
