What are the responsibilities and job description for the Probate Attorney position at The Hale Law Firm?
The Hale Law Firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Probate Attorney to join our team. This role will be primarily responsible for handling a high-volume probate and estate administration caseload from start to finish, with meaningful client interaction and autonomy. Final compensation will be negotiated based on qualifications, experience and work load expectations.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing probate matters from the initial consultation through closing
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, including Applications, Orders, Inventories, and related filings
- Advising clients on estate administration and related legal issues
- Overseeing case deadlines and ensuring timely filings
- Assisting with estate planning matters as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
- Experience in probate and/or estate planning preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
