We are a local, general service law firm, serving the community of Allen and surrounding Collin County in the areas of probate, estate planning, real estate, business, family law (uncontested), and criminal. We are looking to hire an attorney who cares about helping people with their legal needs in any of the firm’s areas of practice. We are also open to adding new areas of practice to supplement our legal services.

Description
Our ideal candidate has 0-5 years of experience handling one or more of these types of matters or who is willing to learn. We are looking to add to our warm and welcoming team by hiring an attorney who is detail oriented, proactive, friendly, honest, empathetic, and a good communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Consult and advise clients in a variety of legal areas
- Provide initial analysis and develop case strategy
- Explain legal options to clients and bring possible outcomes or risks to their attention
- Build relationships with clients
- Ability to negotiate, research, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Look for ways to resolve matters in a creative and expedient manner
- Draft legal documents, such as estate planning documents, deeds, contracts, motions, business formation documents
- Attend hearings
- Review and analyze contracts and other legal documents
- Prepare and respond to discovery
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active license and in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas
- Strong critical thinking skills and solid academic background
- Excellent communicator – both verbally and in writing
- Knowledgeable, attentive, and proactive
- Creative problem solver
- Self-motivated and goal oriented
- Takes initiative and works independently with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented and organized
- Professional and can get along with people; communicates well with staff
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook, Excel
- Minimum of 0 years of experience practicing law

- Salary Range is dependent upon experience. Bonuses are based on firm and individual performance
