Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer, located in Gahanna, OH. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining a variety of goods to meet customer needs and ensure inventory efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include vendor negotiations, managing orders, analyzing market trends, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms. The role also involves ensuring on-time delivery and monitoring inventory levels to reduce waste and optimize supply chain operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in procurement, vendor management, and supply chain processes
- Analytical skills for forecasting demand and evaluating market trends
- Effective negotiation and communication skills to establish and maintain vendor relationships
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and related software
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role is highly advantageous
