Job Overview
Gulf Bowl Family Entertainment Center is seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our food service operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. This role is responsible for managing both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations while ensuring excellent service, food quality, and safety standards. This is a "hands on position" showing our team that we all can work together.
This is a full-time leadership position averaging 45–50 hours per week and requires a hands-on manager who leads by example in a fast-paced, high-volume entertainment environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate FOH and BOH teams to deliver exceptional customer service and efficient food operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistent quality standards
- Manage inventory control, ordering, food costs, and labor costs
- Supervise staff training, development, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Handle cash management, including cash handling procedures, deposits, and shift reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Coordinate daily shift operations and ensure smooth service during peak business periods
- Actively participate in daily operations and lead by example on the floor and in the kitchen
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service management (quick service, casual dining, or full service preferred)
- Experience managing both FOH and BOH operations
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and service flow
- Experience with POS systems
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong cash handling and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations
- Hospitality, hotel, or banquet management experience is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work a flexible schedule averaging 45–50 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays. We are open everyday of the year.
