The Guardian is looking for an ambitious and creative MBA fellow with strong research, organizational, and communication skills to shape the future of the Guardian's US reader revenue growth. The Growth team focuses on delivering immediate results while also developing mid-to-long-term strategy, partnering with teams across the company in both the US office and UK headquarters. You will work with the Senior VP of Growth and US Reader Revenue team, and collaborate across the global organization to plan growth strategy ideas and deliver recommendations to senior Guardian leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Create an innovative digital growth strategy proposal, owning the process from ideation to development to a presentation for senior leadership
- Support existing business priorities with market research and turning that research into actionable recommendations
- Identify market segments with significant growth potential and develop hypotheses for serving these markets
- Run financial and predictive modeling to guide strategy and execution
- Interface with data analytics and audience teams to perform data-drive analyses
- Organize and build executive-level strategy documentation, to include applicable strategic frameworks
Knowledge & experience:
- Must be a MBA student and enrolled in a US accredited college or university MBA degree program for the full duration the fellowship
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Creative problem solver who can identify business problems, leverage and analyze data, and develop solutions
- Organization skills, and strong work ethic and ability to manage projects with minimal direction
- Knowledge of research and data analysis preferred
