Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support personnel, to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Lead staff training initiatives to enhance service quality, food handling procedures, and POS system proficiency such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Oversee customer service standards, resolving guest concerns promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience.
- Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and optimize staffing levels for efficiency during peak hours.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, food safety management protocols, and sanitation standards across the restaurant.
- Control inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and assist in food production coordination when necessary.
- Conduct regular team meetings to promote communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement in hospitality management practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, serving, and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, and interviewing skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and hospitality management principles.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in restaurant management or food service management roles within casual dining or fine dining establishments is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and inventory control; culinary or catering experience is a plus.
