Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and seat guests efficiently to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring presentation standards are maintained and dietary restrictions are respected
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic meal assembly or garnishing when needed
• Clear tables by bussing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and resetting tables quickly to maintain a tidy dining area
• Support the kitchen by dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness standards in food handling areas in accordance with food safety regulations
• Provide exceptional in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries, managing phone etiquette for reservations or questions, and ensuring guest relations are positive throughout their visit

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles such as bussing or serving is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Familiarity with food handling, dishwashing, order taking, and beverage preparation techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning duties
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly guest interactions and team collaboration
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Experience in catering, delivery driving, or hospitality roles enhances your ability to excel in this position
• Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
