What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handyman position at The Grout Master?
We need a handyman to fill a new 1099 sub-contractor opportunity. We are expanding into handyman work and need help handling some of the new workload. This position requires all general handyman tasks including: trim work, painting, faucet replacement, drywall repair, etc. The job is manual labor and is sometimes challenging work. Hard work ethic, patience, and attention to detail are all very important. We are not in the business of "landlord specials." We do good work that customers are impressed with, not quick cash grabs by cutting corners. Must show up on time, with a positive attitude every day. Technician must have their own reliable vehicle that they can drive to job sites every day which will be all over North Metro Atlanta and must have all of their own tools. Days are flexible. Time off is also flexible, work as much or as little as you want. You will have major influence in the work and the schedule. Name your price for tasks and pick which days you want to work.
Job Requirements:
- US citizen or legal work authorization in US
- High School Diploma or GED
- at least 1 year experience
- must have no convictions of a crime (other than minor misdemeanor)
- must have their own vehicle that they can drive to work every day
