This RIDE-approved classroom, already established and welcoming students, is designed with a maximum capacity of six children to ensure focused, personalized, and individualized learning experiences.As the teacher, you will lead a team supported by an exceptional 2:3 staff-to-student ratio. Our staff members hold Bachelor’s-level training in behavior management and the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You will also benefit from onsite collaboration with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Occupational Therapist (OT), and Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to student success.Join our dedicated and supportive team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners. Together, we are fostering growth, independence, and lifelong learning for every child in our care.Compensation rate is based on experience and education.We look forward to welcoming you to our classroom and seeing the difference you can make!Position Description: Coordinate student programs including planning goals, designing instructional programs, scheduling and monitoring programs; complete/monitor completion of documents for staff and students; effectively arrange physical environment to foster maximum learning.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field (master's degree preferred).RI Department of Education certification in Severe/Profound Special Education. One -year experience as a special education teacher preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for special education and a commitment to improving the lives of children with special needs.Must have a valid driver's license and insured auto.
