Service & Parts Specialist Heavy Equipment - Direct Hire Opportunity!

The Greer Group has a great direct hire opportunity for a Service & Parts Specialist for Heavy Equipment with a growing construction company in High Point, NC. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in parts, service, mechanical equipment, hydraulics, or technical customer support who enjoys solving problems and working directly with customers and dealers.

In this role, you’ll serve as a key resource for customers, dealers, and service partners by helping with parts, troubleshooting, repairs, service questions, and warranty needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable talking with customers, understanding mechanical systems, and finding practical solutions to technical issues.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and dealers regarding parts and service needs
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to dealers, service centers, and end users
• Process parts orders, returns, and warranty claims accurately and efficiently
• Assist customers and service technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair questions
• Help with parts procurement, stocking, distribution, and inventory management
• Monitor inventory levels and help ensure parts are available when needed
• Assist with developing and maintaining parts catalogs
• Track recurring service issues and communicate trends or product concerns to engineering and product teams
• Help develop training materials for dealers and customers regarding product maintenance and repairs
• Maintain accurate records of parts sales, service cases, warranty claims, and customer interactions
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer and technical issues
• Follow company policies and safety requirements

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of experience in parts, service, technical support, equipment repair, or a related field
• Mechanical experience and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and components
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical components, or construction/heavy equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently while also being part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ERP, inventory, CRM, or service management systems
