Description
The Greenskeeper is looking for an Account Manager to join its rapidly growing team of landscape professionals. For over 40 years, The Greenskeeper has been maintaining properties on the North Shore of Long Island.
You would be the primary point of contact for the clients and would be expected to build long-term relationships that lead to satisfaction, retention, and ancillary sales. You’d also oversee field operations and supervise an operations Manager, who works with the crew to deliver exceptional service in the field.
Responsibilities
Customer Satisfaction:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships
- Perform site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and expectations are met
- Facilitate the resolution of client concerns to ensure contract renewals
Sales:
- Proactively present site enhancement ideas to clients
- Generate referrals from existing clients
- Develop accurate estimates for new and existing clients
- Maintain acceptable gross margins
Operations:
- Assist in overall leadership of the branch
- Coach and develop teams
Administration:
- Maintain satisfactory accounts receivable
- Ensure branch databases contain up-to-date client information
Credentials & Qualifications
- An associate degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience in the landscape or service industry
- 2 years horticulture field experience
- Clean driving record
