Our client is a growing title insurance and 1031 exchange firm with brand new offices in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. They are looking for a detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join their team.
What You Will Own
- Manage transaction files from contract through post-closing
- Review title searches, commitments, Schedule A and B, endorsements, and closing disclosures
- Prepare and review ALTA/TRID settlement statements for residential and commercial deals
- Handle title curative work including clearing defects, coordinating with underwriting counsel, and chasing down releases and payoffs
- Support 1031 exchange documentation, fund flow coordination, and IRS-compliant file maintenance
- Draft correspondence, manage deadlines, and keep transaction management software up to date throughout the file lifecycle
What We Are Looking For
- 2 years of hands-on experience in real estate closings, title insurance, or a real estate law firm
- Independent experience managing files from contract through post-closing including settlement statements and closing package
- Solid understanding of lender requirements, title underwriting guidelines, and RESPA/TRID compliance
- Multi-state or Mid-Atlantic closing experience is a strong p
- Familiarity with 1031 exchanges and Qualified Intermediary coordination is a bonus
- Notary Public license preferred
- Proficiency with TrackerPro or similar title production software
Salary : $80,000 - $130,000
