The Green Plug is a New York–based energy efficiency company specializing in solar, roofing, HVAC, and home energy upgrades. We are rapidly growing and looking for experienced, reliable Solar Installers to join our field team.

Job Responsibilities
- Install residential solar PV systems (roof and/or ground mount)
- Perform panel racking, module installation, and basic wiring
- Work alongside crew leads, electricians, and project managers
- Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company guidelines
- Maintain clean, organized job sites
- Identify and communicate any on-site issues to management
- Travel to job sites across NYC and Long Island as needed
Requirements
- Prior solar installation experience preferred (minimum 6–12 months ideal)
- Ability to work on roofs and ladders comfortably
- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable transportation (preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- OSHA 10/30 (a plus, not required)
- NABCEP experience or certification is a plus
