Job description:
The Green Panel is seeking a self-motivated professional to join our team. Based in Michigan for over 18 years, The Green Panel is an award-winning solar and battery installation company. We are proud to be the exclusive premier installers for multiple major solar and battery manufacturers.
This position requires a minimum of three years of recent experience with QuickBooks, as well as extensive proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of payroll, inventory procedures, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and quarterly reports. You will also be responsible for managing financial statements through QuickBooks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process payroll and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly payroll tax returns.
- Compile financial statements and prepare recurring reports.
- Utilize journal entry bookkeeping.
- Effectively use Adobe, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Assist with client communications and provide quality service.
- Perform administrative duties, including answering phones and filing.
Requirements:
- 3 years of recent payroll and accounting experience.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a changing environment.
