Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Bookkeeper to join our team at Right at Home South Central Michigan. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining a clean and organized financial record system. Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily financial transactions, including entries, payments, and general ledger reconciliations
- Reconcile time sheets and daily care records on a weekly basis
- Prepare payroll, billing, and EEOC reports on a timely basis
- Manage and process insurance billing, ICD codes, and I-9 forms
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal withholding taxes, labor and wage laws, and tax credits
- Prepare and submit workers' compensation reports and unemployment claims
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to accountants and insurance companies
- Process liability payments, workers' compensation reports, and billing authorizations
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including journal entries and VA billing
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in bookkeeping and working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
