Position Overview
We're looking for a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dog Groomer and/or Dog Bather to join our growing team. Whether you're an experienced groomer or have experience bathing and drying dogs with a desire to grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you. Training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Bathe, dry, brush, and de-shed dogs of all sizes and coat types.
- Perform breed-specific haircuts, trims, and styling (for Groomer applicants).
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide hygienic grooming services.
- Check pets for mats, skin concerns, parasites, or other grooming needs.
- Handle pets with patience, kindness, and care to ensure a low-stress experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming workspace.
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming requests and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Previous dog grooming or dog bathing experience is preferred; training is available for the right person.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of grooming tools, techniques, and safety procedures (for Groomer applicants).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent customer service skills.
- A genuine passion for working with animals.
