Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dog Groomer and/or Dog Bather to join our team. Whether you’re experienced with full grooming or just starting with bathing and drying, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Bathe, dry, brush, and de-shed dogs of all sizes and coat types
- Perform breed-specific haircuts, trims, and styles (if applying as a groomer)
- Check for skin issues, mats, or other grooming needs
- Trim nails, clean ears, and maintain hygienic grooming standards
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Handle pets with care and patience to ensure a stress-free experience
- Communicate professionally with pet owners about grooming requests and results
Requirements:
- Prior grooming or dog bathing experience preferred (training available for the right person)
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of grooming tools, techniques, and safety protocols (for groomer role)
- Passion for animals and excellent customer service skills
