Position Overview
As a Cook at The Grateful Bagel Co., you will prepare and assemble breakfast sandwiches and other menu items, ensuring consistency, quality, and speed during busy morning shifts. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast sandwiches, eggs, meats, and other menu items
- Follow recipes and ensure consistent food quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Monitor food temperatures and adhere to food safety standards
- Stock and prep ingredients for daily service
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure timely orders
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
- Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Dependable, positive attitude, and team-oriented
