Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including fine dining service when applicable.
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, using systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through proper food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed.
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially with fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations effectively.
- Good math skills for accurate cash handling and basic calculations during transactions.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving, bussing, and supporting the team.
