The Grapevine Cafe is looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. If you take pride in keeping a clean, organized kitchen and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
- Empty trash and recycling throughout the shift.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed and at closing.
- Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and food preparation areas.
- Restock clean dishes, cookware, and utensils.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and other duties as assigned.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
