Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team! As a Dietary Aide, you will support the dietary department by ensuring the smooth operation of food service, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in meal preparation for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dish room Operations: Operate the dish machine, clean the dish room, and wash pots, pans, and sort silverware.
- Food Preparation & Tray Setup: Prepare sandwiches and set up the tray line with condiments.
- Meal Delivery: Deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.
- Beverage & Soup Service: Pour coffee, soups, and clean the coffee pot.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Sweep, mop, and ensure cleanliness in dining areas, storerooms, and other kitchen areas.
- Restocking & Waste Management: Restock supplies, manage leftovers, and dispose of trash.
- Additional Duties: Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
Dietary Aide Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Experience: Experience in food service is a plus.
- Teamwork: Positive attitude and strong ability to collaborate with others.
- Reliability: Dependable transportation is required.
