We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join the Grand Hotel maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of guest rooms, hallways, public spaces, and back-of-house areas by performing high-quality painting and surface repair work. This role plays a key part in ensuring a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Paint guest rooms, hallways, offices, outdoor areas, and common areas as scheduled or needed
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming
- Repair minor drywall damage, cracks, and nail holes
- Match and mix paint colors as required
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow safety procedures and proper use of tools and materials
- Coordinate with maintenance, front desk, and general manager to minimize guest disruption
- Guests will be present during jobs, must have manners and patience
- Report any larger maintenance issues observed during work
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and use ladders
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a painter (commercial setting preferred)
- Knowledge of painting tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to perform light drywall and surface repairs

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
