Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations
- Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, hostesses, and bartenders
- Ensure high standards of food and beverage service are maintained
- Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Handle customer concerns and feedback professionally and efficiently
- Support inventory management and cost control efforts
- Assist in implementing marketing initiatives and promotional events
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Participate in financial reporting and analysis as directed by the General Manager
- Fill in for the General Manager when necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front and back of house
- Proficiency in restaurant POS systems
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
