The Goodman Group is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join our Legal team. In this role, you will provide direct support to the Head of the Legal Department on a wide range of legal matters related to property management and the operation of healthcare and residential communities.
This position also supports other attorneys and legal team members with various paralegal responsibilities. We offer flexible work arrangements, including hybrid or fully remote options.
Anticipated salary is approximately $80,000 annual salary, depending on experience.

Essential Job Functions
- Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of litigation process, including but not limited to coordinating internal discovery, which includes collecting documents, coordinating interviews, and coordinating internal discovery and e-discovery, matter management and file management, reviewing pleadings, coordinating with outside counsel, assisting with insurance claim reporting, and coordinating payments of settlements.
- Independently review and respond to subpoenas and other similar document requests for outside parties.
- Support real estate property tax appeal process, including, but not limited, managing all internal discovery and document collection, tracking active appeals, and coordinating reviews with internal stakeholders and outside tax consultants.
- Independently manage all aspects of operational business licensing, including, but not limited to, completing all initial applications and all annual renewals.
- Assist with and support drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as employment releases, contract terminations, or other similar documents.
- Independently oversee legal forms and templates, working with all legal department team members to ensure that documents are up to date and accurate.
- Support the company’s contract lifecycle management program and legal review of contracts, such as reviewing and approve contracts.
- Independently managing company trademarks, including, but not limited to, working with Marketing and outside counsel on new filings and renewal applications, and maintaining trademark files.
- Independently support the sale and/or transfer of vehicle titles for owned by company, including, but not limited to, completing paperwork related to sale or purchase of a vehicle.
- Service of Process management, including, but not limited to,
- Supporting all legal department functions with other paralegal duties as directed.
- Utilize legal technologies, including, but not limited to, artificial intelligence and automation improve legal department process and legal work product.
- 3 years of experience in legal coordination, paralegal, or a related legal support function at a law firm, with demonstrated responsibility for matter management, e-discovery coordination, or legal systems administration.
- Litigation management experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree with relevant legal operations or paralegal certification will be considered.
- Proven experience working with legal technology, including matter management systems; strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
- Prior experience with artificial intelligence and/or automation applications is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines with exceptional attention to detail, data accuracy, and follow-through.
- Familiarity with litigation management, corporate/entity management, general legal service, and service of process workflows.
- Strong project management, organization, and time management skills with the ability to execute reliably and independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports and engage tactfully with business partners, outside counsel, and regulatory bodies.
- Technically fluent and comfortable learning new systems; committed to data integrity, process discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to develop insights from operational data and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment in handling confidential information and sensitive matters.
- Customer service orientation consistent with delivering timely, responsive, and high-quality legal services to the business.
