Litigation Associate – Commercial Real Estate Focus
Our boutique law firm client is looking for a Junior Litigation Associate to join their team! MUST have Commercial Real Estate experience (a focus on commercial mortgage foreclosure).
Someone with bankruptcy experience on the creditor side is REQUIRED.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will take on a range of responsibilities related to real estate litigation and secured creditor rights, including:
- Managing secured lending enforcement cases from initiation through resolution
- Drafting motions, injunctions, and related pleadings
- Handling diligence in connection with mortgage and note transactions
- Preparing court submissions, managing discovery, and handling appeals
- Appearing in State and Federal courts for hearings, conferences, and mediations
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial litigation, ideally involving real estate or financial services
- Exceptional writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet tight deadlines
- Admission to the New York Bar (New Jersey Bar a plus)
Salary : $125,000 - $160,000
