We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals..Midtown / Uptown NYC3 month assignments I have several openings for below shifts starting next week.6am-2:15pm And 2pm -10:15pm , both shifts are open at each location listed below 2nd Ave / Sunday - Wednesday 2nd Ave / Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday Second Ave / Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday Midtown Third Ave / Friday,, Saturday , Sunday and Monday (Female Only) 89th Street / Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Female Only)265 Cherry street / Friday, Saturday, Sunday and MondayUptown Amsterdam Sunday, / Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday Uptown Amsterdam Ave Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, medication administration, and ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.Duties:- Provide direct care and support to individuals in accordance with their personalized care plans- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any adverse reactions- Perform first aid and basic medical procedures when necessary- Respect and uphold the rights of residents, ensuring their dignity and privacy at all times- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses or hospice care providers, to ensure comprehensive careRequirements:- Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred- Knowledge of medication administration and first aid procedures- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need- Valid driver's license for transportation purposes- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team- Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionalsBenefits:- Competitive salary based on experience- Comprehensive training program provided- Opportunities for career advancement within the organizationIf you are passionate about providing quality care to individuals in need, we encourage you to apply for the position of Direct Support Professional.
