On-Call Weekend Home Health Aide (HHA)

This unique opportunity requires availability for only every fourth weekend on-call. In addition to being part of a compassionate and supportive team, on-call HHAs receive a $100 stipend for each completed on-call weekend and are eligible earn additional pickup bonuses. Looking for even more hours? Additional shifts may be available beyond your scheduled on-call weekends.

** On-call duties include coverage at both the Sauk Rapids and Becker Campuses. **

On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing

• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful leisure and recreational activities

• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and exercise

• Assist with medication administration under the direction and supervision of the RN

• Accurately document medication administration in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR)

• Report any changes in resident condition to the RN promptly

• Perform light housekeeping tasks

On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA) Schedule

• On-call HHAs will be scheduled for on-call every fourth weekend and every fourth holiday

• On-call hours are from 4:00 PM Friday to 8:00 AM Monday

On-Call Home Health Aide (HHA) Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred

• Must be Active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry - OR - provide certificate of completion from an approved 75-hour Nursing Assistant course

• Must be at least 18 years old
