Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food handling areas, kitchen equipment, and dining surfaces.
- Assist in food safety management by following proper procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitation protocols.
- Support food preparation tasks like bussing tables, restocking supplies, and operating kitchen equipment to ensure smooth service flow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service, upselling, and sales to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times.
