The Goddard School of Lake Forest is a well-established, high-quality preschool, and we’re seeking a positive, flexible, and experienced Operations Director to help lead our growing school community. This role is ideal for a confident, organized leader with 5–10 years of director-level preschool experience who is passionate about creating a warm, collaborative environment for children, families, and staff.

About The Role

As Operations Director, you will partner with the Owner and leadership team to ensure smooth, compliant daily operations while supporting a nurturing, engaging school culture. You’ll guide staff, support families, and uphold the highest standards in safety, curriculum, and customer care. You will also work alongside multiple administrative team members who provide strong daily support in running the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily school operations & ensure Title 22 compliance
• Lead, support, and develop teaching staff
• Build strong, positive relationships with families
• Support enrollment, tours, and parent communication
• Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing school environment
• Assist with curriculum oversight and school events
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of leadership experience as a Director in a preschool setting

• Meets CA Title 22 Director qualifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Flexible, positive, and solutions-oriented approach
• Knowledge of early learning standards and best practices
• EMSA CPR/First Aid
