Job description What We’re Looking For:
Are you passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact in the lives of young learners? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic GSRP Assistant Teacher for our 4-year-olds to join our growing team!
Minimum of a CDA Required!
Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons aligned with GSRP curriculum
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management and daily routines
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Maintain documentation, assessments, and records as required
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities
- Adhere to state licensing requirements and maintain compliance with QA standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential required
- Experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Knowledge of GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) guidelines is a plus
- Passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed for child safety and emergencies.
