The Goddard School of Lyndhurst is seeking a nurturing, experienced Toddler Teacher to lead a classroom and create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Our Toddler Teachers support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while fostering curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. We offer a premium early childhood education experience in a supportive, professional, and collaborative environment.
Position Available: Full-Time and Part-Time
Responsibilities
- Lead a toddler classroom using developmentally appropriate practices
- Create a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
- Support toddlers’ social-emotional growth and early language development
- Plan and implement engaging classroom activities and routines
- Build positive relationships with families and team members
- Maintain classroom ratios and licensing standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of toddler classroom experience
- Patient, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
