Toddler Teacher

Summary

We are seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our team, providing a nurturing and educational environment for young learners. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our future generation with age appropriate implementation, scaffolding learning and providing a safe and warm environment.



Duties

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
• Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play
• Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment for children
• Monitor and assess each child's progress and communicate effectively with parents
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom conductive to learning

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous Lead Teacher role is required or working with Toddlers aged 18 month to 36 months
• Knowledge of Creative Curriculum
• Ability to educate and engage young learners in a classroom setting
• Understanding of child well being and development best practices
• Experience in toddler care is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infants and Toddlers
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• A minimum of 3 years experience working with children ages 18 months to 36 months
Worked in a Licensed by the State of New Jersey Child Care Center
