Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or preschool frameworks
  • Support children’s learning by engaging them in age-appropriate activities focused on literacy education, math skills, and social development
  • Help manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior to create a safe and structured environment
  • Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation
  • Support classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and respectful interactions among students
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to active learning and exploration
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative educational atmosphere

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques
  • Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to assist in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to young learners’ needs
  • Experience in behavior management strategies and toddler care is advantageous
  • Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
