Northside Indianapolis law firm seeking a full-time, experienced Paralegal, with a real estate background. The ideal candidate will have both litigation and transactional experience and be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Key responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in real estate litigation and transactional matters.
- Drafting and project management of transactional matters.
- Conduct legal and corporate research regarding business entities, compliance requirements, and regulatory matters.
- Prepare contracts, amendments, purchase agreements, entity formation documents, resolutions, and closing binders.
- Coordinate execution, signature collection, organization, and management of contracts and closing documents.
- Track deadlines, filings, renewals, compliance obligations, and post-closing requirements.
- Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies, opposing counsel, lenders, title companies, and various other entities.
- Identify missing information, inconsistencies, and follow-up items in legal documents and transaction workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay: $60K-$80K annually depending on experience
