Part Time Line Cook/ Kitchen Assistant – The Getty (Portsmouth, NH)
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Position: Part Time
Schedule: Weekends
Compensation: $16/hr tips
We’re looking for a dedicated, seasonal part time line cook this summer to support our Lead Savory Chef in executing high-quality breakfast sandwiches and lunch menu. This is an opportunity to hone your craft while being part of a truly exciting new endeavor in the community.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the preparation and production of hot breakfast and lunch items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare food items according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
- Support kitchen operations during service and ensure timely plate delivery including opening/closing/dish duties.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working in a commercial-grade kitchen is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in production
- An understanding of food safety practices and kitchen cleanliness standards
- At least 17 years of age with reliable transportation
- A team player with a strong work ethic and love for the craft of baking
- Flexible schedule, including, weekends, and holidays
