With a focus on prime meat, seasonal produce, and local seafood, The Victor offers a fine dining experience like no other in the Santa Ynez Valley. That, plus a state-of-the-art kitchen, designed by chefs, for chefs, is sure to inspire the culinary senses.
Who We Are
The Victor opened in the summer of 2022 and is currently open for happy hour, dinner service, and weekend brunch service. The Victor sits next to The Genevieve, the highest rated hotel in the Santa Ynez Valley. The Hotel runs a successful banquet program in addition to its daily service, hosting a variety of events including weddings, parties, and meetings.

Responsibilities
- Preparing ingredients: This includes cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooking to order: Following recipes and cooking methods to ensure dishes are cooked correctly and consistently.
- Plate presentation: Arranging food on plates according to established guidelines.
- Quality control: Ensuring dishes are prepared to the restaurant's standards for taste and appearance.
- Portion control: Using the correct portions to minimize waste and ensure cost control.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years cooking experience. Experience in a fine dining environment role is preferred.
- Current Safe Food Handling Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Pay: $22-$25 Per Hour
