About The Role
- Have you been working in a laboratory using complex instruments to perform rigorous tests and/or troubleshooting of laboratory methods and instrumentation?
- Are you hoping to apply the skills learned while obtaining your chemistry, biology, or environmental degree in a full-time career?
- Would you like to be part of a team dedicated to meeting exact customer standards working at one of the largest and most comprehensive single-site production laboratories in the country?
What You'll Do
- Conduct basic procedures that support other operations in the laboratory
- Perform login, sample management and disposal operations
- Complete data entry activities, including initial data reduction, and initial data review
- Prepare lab ware for procedures
- Perform standard operating procedures like aliquoting, and digestions
- Operate basic laboratory instrumentation and equipment
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrate and supporting GEL core values
- Bachelor of Science, preferably in Chemistry or Biology
- Laboratory experience preferred
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Experience operating basic laboratory instrumentation and equipment
- Exhibits organizational skills and attention to detail
