Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be inventorying our tools, machinery, and equipment into our online Supply Chain Management (SCM) system.
Beyond data entry, you will assist in the daily flow of our warehouse, ensuring that materials move efficiently and the workspace remains a safe, high-functioning environment.
This is a part-time temporary position will pay $13.00 per hour and work on-site in our Virginia Beach office. Key Responsibilities

Asset Management & Data Entry
- Identify and log all company tools, machinery, and other physical assets.
- Accurately input asset data into the online SCM system.
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing slips and inspecting for damage.
- Prepare outgoing materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse floor.
- Assist in reconfiguring storage layouts to optimize space.
- Computer Proficiency: You must be highly comfortable navigating online platforms, using cloud-based software, and performing fast, accurate data entry.
- Organizational Skills: You should be able to categorize complex items logically.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with the team and documenting inventory notes.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to comfortably climb ladders and stairs throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the work period.
