LEASING CONSULTANT (40 hours/week) - The Marling Apartment Community
Do you like working with people? Are you highly motivated and successful in showing and leasing quality apartments? Do you enjoy performing a variety of work and like working in a fast-paced environment? If so, check out our Leasing Consultant opening.
In this Leasing position, you will showcase your sales/leasing skills while providing excellent resident relations services at our beautiful Marling Apartment Community located near Madison's Downtown (on East Washington).
Candidates who are highly motivated, self-starters, and who have retail or property management sales experience along with a successful track record of providing excellent customer service are encouraged to apply.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a min. of 1 year of property management leasing experience OR an associate degree in sales, marketing, or related field with six months of property management experience. One year of sales or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of property management leasing experience. In addition, we are seeking a candidate who has:
- A minimum of one year of providing exemplary customer service experience (required).
- A minimum of 6 months of Property Management Experience (at a large Apartment community) preferred.
- The ability to multi-task, and/or make independent decisions in a fast-paced customer service-oriented work environment is required.
- The ability to communicate professionally and tactfully.
- A successful track record of management experience and accomplishments required
- Proficiency in using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent software required.
- Current knowledge of applicable housing laws and leasing agreements preferred.
- Experience with or ability to learn on-site computer rental software. Prior use of Real Page Property Management software preferred.
- The availability to be scheduled for 5 days per week. Hours are 40 hours per week (Tuesdays – Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, and Saturdays hours from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm).
- HS diploma or GED required.
